Synopsis
In the solitude and despair of a best-selling author who is no longer able to write, Raia decides to fly to New York in search of inspiration. The city introduces her to River, a mysterious architect from Jakarta. Their encounter marks the beginning of a ‘secret’ friendship between the two, although there’s a ticking time bomb that could explode at any moment. Both River and Raia carry tragedies that have made them lonely souls. They have the potential to heal each other but also to hurt each other.
About Teddy Soeriaatmadja
Teddy Soeriaatmadja (born 7 February 1975) is an Indonesian film director. Born in Japan and educated in Britain, Soeriaatmadja made his film debut in 2000 with the short film Culik (Kidnap); it was followed five years later by Banyu Biru (Blue Banyu), his feature film debut. Since then Soeriaatmadja has directed several films, including two which have garnered him a nomination for Best Director at the Indonesian Film Festival.
